· Volkswagen (China) donated emergency relief supplies to Tianjin

On August 14, during the critical period of emergency rescue after the Tanggu explosion in Tianjin, the Volkswagen Group (China) immediately decided to donate 2.1 million yuan to the China Women's Development Foundation to build the first transitional site for the affected areas. Help affected people to move from emergency resettlement sites to safer and more stable resettlement areas as soon as possible.
Although the Volkswagen Group (China) was also affected by the bombings, it is still deeply concerned about the fire officers and soldiers, local people and families affected by the bombing in the spirit of consistent humanitarianism and high corporate social responsibility. To this end, the Volkswagen Group (China) first negotiated with the China Women's Development Foundation to unite the Tianjin Women's Federation and the Tianjin Women's Children's Fund on the basis of the "Volkswagen Group (China) Child Safety Fund).
